10 things I love about winter

1. drinking large amounts of tea.

2. cozying up with a good book.

3. mulled wine.

4. lots and lots of soup.

5. the clothes – lots of coats and scarves and boots and gloves.

6. rain.

7. everything is lovely and green.

8. cold, overcast days – so dreary and miserable. i love it!

9. sitting by a fire.

10. the leafless trees. they make pretty silhouettes.

1 Pixies. Just all round excellent. Kim Deal is the coolest.

2. The White Stripes. Jack White is a music genius. That is all.

3. Radiohead. I don’t need to say anything. They are just amzing all over.

4. Beck. The most a diverse artist I have ever heard.

5. Muse. Every member of Muse are incredibly talented. Meaning, amazingly talented. Meaning so talented you want to die of jealousy.

6. The Cure. Slightly depressing, but brilliant nonetheless.

7. Talking Heads. I’ll stick with the New Wave theme here. David Byrne is the weirdest/awesome person ever. Also, I want to be Tina Weymouth.

8. Regina Spektor. Russian. Bizarre. Incredibly lovely.

9. Sonic Youth. Guitar noise and angst. A good combination.

10. PJ Harvey. Very Morbid. I am in love.
